Installing the Apollo mobile app

iOS (Apple)

1.) Joining

. / Downloading the Apollo Display app via Test Flight

In order to use Test Flight to download pre-production builds of the Apollo Display application, you must be invited by CI Digital. If you have an existing Apple ID you may use that to connect your account with Test Flight, or you may use a new one which can be created as part of the onboarding process. Both cases will be outlined further down. Either way, a CI Digital tech representative will initiate the process by sending an invitation email as seen below.

You should click “Accept Invitation”, at which point you will begin the process of creating a new Apple ID and connecting it to Test Flight, or of connecting your existing Apple ID.

2.) Creating Apple ID (IF YOu Don't HAve One)

// ONLY FOLLOW THIS STEP IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN APPLE ID

. / If an Apple ID does not exist for the email address that the invitation was sent to, you will be prompted to create one as seen in the following screenshots. You should fill out your information followed by the password and security questions you wish to use to access this Apple ID. Note in the final screenshot example you may want to opt out of email notifications, as these are general Apple notifications that are not relevant to use of our application.

3.) Verification (CONt.)

. / Upon submitting the form, you will be asked to verify your email as seen here:

You should check the inbox for an email resembling the one seen here:

Upon accepting the terms and conditions, you will be sent to the appstoreconnect.apple.com landing page as seen below, however, there is nothing you need to do here at this time, so you may close that browser window.

4.) Sign in

. / Once you have signed in, you will be sent to the appstoreconnect.apple.com landing page as seen below, however, there is nothing you need to do here at this time, so you may close that browser window.

5.) Invitation

. / Once a CI Digital tech rep grants your account access to the Apollo Display pre-production app, you should receive an email invitation as seen below (these steps will be most easily done from your phone).

6.) Testflight

. / Once a CI Digital tech rep grants your account access to the Apollo Display pre-production app, you should receive an email invitation as seen below (these steps will be most easily done from your phone).

. / Click on “View in TestFlight” to be redirected to testflight.apple.com.

7.) Test flight invitation

. / Click the link to get TestFlight from the App Store. This will open the app store and allow you to choose to download TestFlight.

8.) Test flight install

. / Click through the welcome screen. You should automatically see “apollo display” in your list of apps, but if not, you can click on “Redeem” in the top-right, and enter the code from the page shown above at testflight.apple.com. If you closed that window, you can always get back to it by going to the invitation email and clicking “View in TestFlight”.

9.) apollo app install

. / You can now open the app by tapping “Open”, or you can tap directly on the app in this screen to be able to see extra details.

. / You can send feedback directly from this details page as well, although direct email, text, or slack message will likely be most effective.

. / If you have an issue, please always try to include the build number that is currently installed (in the screenshots, the build number is 0.0.3). If you have an issue that’s preventing you from using the app, you can choose “Previous Builds” and select an earlier build that works for you while we work on fixing the issue.
